Co-Founder & Founding Partner
Kent Huffman spent his career doing what good lawyers do: listening carefully, thinking clearly, and giving clients honest answers even when the honest answer was not what they wanted to hear. He co-founded this firm alongside Rick Hutchinson, and together they built a practice rooted in the belief that a client deserves straightforward counsel, not managed expectations.
His Practice
Over the course of his career, Kent counseled individuals and businesses through civil litigation, real estate matters, estate planning and administration, and corporate and business guidance.
He handled the full range of what life and commerce bring to a lawyer's desk — contract disputes, ownership transitions, property transactions, and the smaller decisions that keep a business or an estate from becoming a larger problem later.
His Approach
What clients remembered most was not any particular outcome but the way he worked. He returned calls. He explained things plainly. He did not overstate what the law could do.
That combination of honesty and diligence is not common enough in the legal profession, and it shaped the culture of this firm in ways that outlasted him.
His Legacy
Kent was a member of The Florida Bar and practiced in West Palm Beach for many years. He is deeply missed by his colleagues and by the clients whose lives he touched.
His name on this firm is not a formality — it is a reminder of the standard he set.
